This book practically starts out, "Hi, I'm Sybil, if you'll follow me to the bedroom we'll get things started." This was surprising from 292 page book. This book was 9/10 sex and 1/10 plot. So if you're waiting for the book that adds practically any position you can think of, this book is for you. I read a short story by this author that I loved so I ordered some of her full length books from the library. I have one more that I picked up, so hopefully it will be better than this. This was good not great. I gave this four stars because I liked Charlene Teglia's style of writing, and her brand of erotica. This is in the book of the month in the Erotic Enchants group (GoodReads) and I decided to read it as one in a reading challenge as well.I'm impressed with Ms Teglia's imagination, and this is the first book I've read from her. This reminded me a little of Lara Santiago's "Menagerie" because Sybil is shared by 5 men. The similarity stops there. In here, there are multiple sex partners, menages, and the sex so hot from beginning until the end, you must have someone/thing handy beside you.The story was just a sidebar. This one is filled with a lot of couplings every now and then. I didn't mind because it's the reason I read it, but if you're looking for something with depth and a lot of complicated characters, you won't be able to appreciate this. Although I didn't like Sybil much, her character has developed, and so did Kenric's. It was really quick how they made up - and they did more than that naturally. I was amused by Kadar the most, not much love for Adrian the vampire, and fascinated the BDSM-inclined fey. Abaran was the demon most unlikely to be gentle with her.The plot was quite simple, in a nutshell, a destined witch has awakened her power and is called upon by the dark side, the five guardians must claim her to give her the mark so she would be able to control it, not be controlled by it. Kenric hated it that he's attracted to her more than the sexual way, but something deeper draws him in. He recognizes his mate and he claims her. Of course, because of the resistance he shows, she flees to her own world - in her own apartment and sulks there until he comes back for her.
