About book CHERUB: People's Republic (2011)

Peoples Rupublic by Robert Muchamore Twelve year old Ryan is part of CHERUB, a branch of the British Intelligence that trains kids as agents. The advantage of having young spies is that no one expects them to be undercover agents. Ryan's latest mission is to befriend a rich woman's grandson, in order to gather information about the woman's criminal empire... Meanwhile, in China, 11 year old Ning is fleeing from the police with her mother after realizing that her wealthy father is a criminal. When the two become separated, Ning sets off for England to live with relatives. But she has no passport, no money, and no travel arrangements... When Ning comes into contact with the organization that Ryan is trying to stop, their two paths connect. I thought that this book was very well written. The author did a great job of writing two separate stories and gradually connecting them. Most books get boring at times, but I thought that People's Republic was always interesting. This book follows the stories of two main characters and you really get to know them throughout the book. At first the plot was a bit confusing, but the more of the book you read, the more you understand. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes mystery, action, and suspense. I read the first cherub series. I was going to read this series I was hoping for more of that action and reality.I was let down.maybe it's because I'm bored by the fact he has no new ideas, sure every mission is different, that's was what I loved, not the common and typical, 'the bad guy is going to blow up the world! OH NOOOO! You've got to stop him agent X" none of that rubbish. But the conclusion is alway the same, the agent busts the bad dudes. But you get so attached to the good guy (not that James is the nicest guy in the world, in fact he's just a ass) so when the new main character is changed, I automatically hate him and want James, Lauren, Kerry, etc. back. sure, some of them are still there, but not as main characters.I was kinda surprised that he's dragging out the same mission, because, the Cherub books was on a "one mission, one book" policy.NO ROMANCE! Now THAT is a crime. I'm not a huge romance fan, but it at least adds some VUMA into the story.I wonder when these dudes go bye-bye, will there be another heir tho the CHERUB main character throne?(If there is I SWEAR I'm going to rip out ALL OF MY HAIR!)

Do You like book CHERUB: People's Republic (2011)?

I actually didn't think I would like this. I've had previous experiences but this is amazing.
