I love stories where the MCs push through the BS in their lives that is preventing them from being truly happy by finding the person who makes them realize they need more. Sol and Adam are those MCs. Sol awakens after meeting Adam. He starts having feelings he hasn't felt in years - good and bad. The more attracted he is to Adam - the more his past comes back and the less he cares about his open marriage of convenience. Change isn't easy for Sol and those around him as he struggles to determine what he wants and needs, but its dealing with the feelings and gaining the strength to take risks that helps them all grow. Great read - I recommend it. Sol has a marriage of convenience which has worked for 8 years. He can have one night stands with men, his wife can have one night stands with women and they can even sleep with each other, as long as the 'affairs' are kept secret and their careers are not jeopardised. Sol however, meets and has an instant and reciprocated connection with Adam. The chemistry between Adam and Sol is intense and as two English men living in the US, they also have an easy connection that Sol feels he has missed having been away from the UK for so long. Sol struggles to deal with the death of a boyfriend he had in his teens and so a trip back to England to visit their families (not all of whom are entirely accepting of a gay lifestyle) means that he is forced to face his demons. This feels quite fast paced. There's so much going on all the time, the characters were likeable, the drama unfolding kept me glued to the pages and they were hot together. Highly recommended.

It's not a fluffy read as the blurb might suggest. It's a hard won HEA. A very nice surprise.
