What a beautiful, heart wrenching, emotional conclusion to a beloved series. Simply beautiful!! The Shattered Hearts series is one of my absolute favorites and to finally get Abby’s story was the icing on the cake. This book is just what the series needed. A heart warming story for a heart warming series. I don’t care if you were team Chris or team Adam, you will always be team Abby. Abby stole everyone hearts from the very beginning and all of the unanswered questions are tied up nicely. We get to see more Chris and Claire, we are introduced to the dreamy Caleb and we see Abby grown in all of her beauty. This book gutted me in a good way and I can not recommend it enough. Chasing Abby is the final book in the series and it is a beautiful conclusion. This book took me on such an emotional rollercoaster. I laughed, cried, smiled, sobbed and had a happy heart by the end of the book. Cassia does an amazing job of making you feel every emotion through the entire series. She makes you feel like you are right there living in the book with these characters.We have followed the lives of Chris and Claire Knight for quite awhile and have always wondered if they would ever get to have a relationship with Abby. When Abby turns 18 she is given the key to a safe deposit box that hold the identity of her birth parents. She gets to decide if she wants to take the next step in meeting them. After a situation with her adoptive parents doesn't go well Abby decides she wants to see what her biological parents are like. The reunion with Abby, Chris and Claire is such a beautiful moment in the story. I loved seeingAbby and her new siblings interact with each other.“I’m different. I’m the girl who got away. The girl who was strong enough to capture my parents’ hearts in a single twenty-minute meeting and hold them captive for eighteen years.”This is story is all about Abby and her journey to find herself. I loved watching her mature and finally be able to make her own decisions on what she wants to do with her life. We are also fortunate enough to meet an amazing guy named Caleb in this story and he is Abby's biggest supporter throughout the entire book. You will have to read the book to find out all about this amazing guy. Chasing Abby brings the Shattered Hearts series full circle and I am so sad that this is the end. This series has definitely touched my heart and will stay with me forever. Amazing job Cassia!!!
