I think that I have read all of Anya Bast's books and this was by far my favorite! Midnight Enchantment was everything a final book in the series should be. It is fast paced that kept me hooked from start to finish. As far as the story line goes Elizabeth is hiding the missing pieces needed for the walls to come down. She is determined to keep them to protect one she loves. Niall will stop at nothing to get them and hand them over to the shadow queen so the fae will finally be free. What will happen when sparks fly between this unlikely pair? Will the fae go free or be forever trapped? My favourite of the whole series. The storyline definitely heats up, being the final book of the series. It was a lot more engaging and something was always happening, unlike the previous books which had a lot of intermissions to fill in the romance aspect. And I definitely liked Elizabeth's character, and not simply because she had red hair and could turn into water (the little mermaid was one of favourite movies as a child) but she was the most interesting of the four, with a cheeky and mysterious personality. I wish more time was spend on Niall though, I felt a lot about his character was never explored enough so I had a hard time picturing him in my mind. But overall definitely a great end to the series.
Do You like book Charme De Minuit (2014)?
I love Anya Bast, and my only complaint now is that this series is over! *pout*
