I thought the book Ashfall was very interesting, and I recommend you read it. It kept me entertained throughout the whole book and I couldn't put it down. It's about a teenage boy who gets left at home for a day because the rest of his family is visiting relatives. A volcano erupts while he is alone and the whole world goes into madness. There is 3 feet of ash everywhere and it make travel close to impossible. He must reunite with his family but they are far away. He must go through a lot of trouble to reach his goal and he meets many people on his way; good and bad.So I hope you read this book.(There may be parts of this book that are inappropriate to you or make you feel awkward) I absolutely loved this book. It is definitely a change in pace for me to read this kind of book but I’m so glad I picked it up. I loved the characters and the story of survival. It was a bit gritty and dark but it was perfect considering the conditions Darla and Alex faced throughout the book. This book is definitely one of my favorites. I couldn’t stop reading and I was fully immersed in the story. The writing was absolutely lovely and the story flowed perfectly. I am definitely going to continue with the series and I can’t wait to see how the story continues!
