There's a sense of the whole insta-love in each of these books which isn't my favorite but I suppose with books this short it's something that can't be helped. I'm not much of a believer when it comes to God and all that either anymore but it wasn't shoved down my throat too much in this book so that was okay too. I really enjoyed Casey and Hal and how much they were willing to give up for the other person and even during their misunderstanding, they still cared enough about each other to risk themselves for the other. I'm enjoying these books enough to keep going and I'm super excited for Kyle and Gill's book! This was just a feel good story. Casey is the new minister in town and is paying for the sins of the previous abusive preacher. The church rec hall needs a lot of work and Casey hires a reluctent Hal to finish the building up for Christmas. There's a definite attraction between the two men but Hal has God issues and tries to push Casey away. This is Cattle Valley though so the entire town comes through for a HEA ending.
