I had forgotten that I have lost my interest in the Sneaky Pie Brown series as it moves to the author's podium for political discourse. It's not that I agree or disagree with her sentiments, I just get enough of that in the media. The mystery in this story is definitely the side story and there is little of Tee Tucker and Mrs. Murphy solving a murder. The stories were better when Harry was still the post mistress. I've enjoyed the Mrs. Murphy mysteries over the years. I'm sorry that the author has chosen to use the last few books as vehicles for her political rants. Why she should think that people who want to read light-weight mysteries where two cats and a dog are among the main characters would be interested in her political opinions is beyond me. If I want to know about an author's political opinions I'll look for a biography.
Another fun addition to this series. I love the characters in this series.
