This is one of those really great books that you start and don't stop. Lovely story and refreshing characters, a good balance between good and evil and with a good dose of romance but not so much that you loose track of the plot. The book is well written and the characters are well portrayed, there is an exciting plot and lot's of action to keep you reading. The love story is sweet and builds up slowly and the love scenes make you wish for a Dorian of your own.I will definately to continue to read the books by Amandda J. Greene. I haven't read many historical, paranormal romances, but I enjoyed Caressed by Moonlight. I found Dorian to be a ravishing and amusing hero, and I admired Victoria's feisty nature and strength. The supernatural world was both interesting and different and I fully enjoyed discovering the myths, ways and rules of the Vampire community. The sex scenes were yummy, the action was gruesome, and the book was sprinkled with humour and heartfelt moments. I look forward to reading the next book in the Rulers of Darkness series.
