Kyle is so sweet - he's like the complete opposite from Jeremy!! I really liked this book..it was touching.Carissa is a famous cellist - child prodigy - sheltered - her life is music. Kyle is trying to get his life back on a good path after everything that happened to him while working for Jeremy. Carissa is his new client and she is a handful..but Kyle is so used to Jeremy, he totally thinks it's no problem - ha! Boy was he wrong! She is one crazy diva with no social skills!I like this book partly because it was so very different from Jeremy's story, that it felt like a break in a marathon but also because I really wanted them to find e happiness they both deserved. I was not cool with the way Caressa spoke to Kyle when she was angry and happy that he had "punishments" associated, but even so..towards the end, his devotion was remarkable despite her attitude. My heart went out to Kyle.I loved Jeremy in this book - a lot. His appearances added so much more to his own character and really made his friendship with Kyle a beautiful thing...something that wasn't so apparent in the first book. Poignant - when trying to figure out why this book attached itself to my soul, this was the one word that jumped out to encapsulate the story, poignantThe story ensnares you because it truly is a story of accepting yourself and moving forward to like yourself as you are. You may not fully understand the reasons why you act and react in some situations or with some feelings, but learn to accept yourself and move forwardKyle and Caressa both start the book in a very dark and confusing place and, while they seem to stay dark through most of their journey, you delight and applaud every advancement they make in becoming self-reliantThere were moments in the book that will make you laugh and some that will make you sob, but each draws you in with a further understanding of who Kyle and Caressa are and will be - poignant

I would have enjoyed it more if the female character wasn't the most obnoxious ever.
