I loved it!This book had a lot of depth in it, a good story line, with a lot of action, if you get my drift. The main character, Carissa, is having family problems, relationship problems, and now construction problems. When she keeps running into Josh, one of her problems from three years ago.Only now, she realizes he could still be a problem, only one she doesn't want to forget anytime soon. And from the sultry looks Josh is passing her way, he feels the same.So they set up a Lets-get-it-out-of-our-system method, and begin to sleep together, hoping it will work the bugs out on its own and they can move on with their lives like this never happened. Right! Like that ever works.There is only one prob, her ex is Josh's best friend, whom they have to hide everything from. This book was fun from first to last page. I loved every bit of it. The only thing that had me rolling my eyes at them, was the fact that they had a REALLY stupid reason for not being together. I mean, I know, all books has that one thing, and I know its just me thinking, can we just get on with it! but it has to be there. lolBut yes! A total recommend. It had its funny moments, along with life lessons and a few naughty parts that you will love! This story took me a little bit to get into. Not because the beginning is bad - it's obviously intriguing enough to keep me interested in the story. There just was a lot of build up to Carissa & Josh getting their crap together enough to be friends. They have a history, and they have feelings for each other, but they each let their feelings of ... idk what, exactly... lead for much too long. There's a good supporting cast (Tony will be featured in book 2), the writing is solid, and the characters/motivations well fleshed out. Part of that fleshing out is what made it a slower burn, but once I broke out of that, it was a real page-turner! Oh, and the last few scenes? Well worth the slow start!! : )
