I loved this book. The weird thing I wasn't even planning to read it. I had a tab opened for a Kristen Ashley book with this one opened in another tab - a bad habit I guess. I was struggling to read the Kristen Ashley book I turned to this one just for distraction and here I am, have finished this book at 3 am.Anyway what can I say about this fantastic. I loved how realistic it is. I have read a couple of Rock n' Roll books but this is out of all of them is the most realistic as a Rock n' Roll book. You are there with the band through everything. Their first break , their first album, interviews everything and I loved the blog it felt like Jake was talking to me with his blog as a fan. I was a fan then I was in Jake's head. It felt I had an inside scoop of everything with the band and Jake. You basically meet Jake he is a twenty something that has started a band with his friends Jimmy and Chris. He is gay and open about it. He knows who he is, he is a nice guy, quite charming but not annoying charming like ''I can get any man I want and I am boss'' charming and he has his imperfections and that in a hero is endearing. The whole book is told in Jake's point of view but he is a great narrator. It felt like I was watching a film about Jake and Parker's romance and how the band got to be successful. I was connected to Jake even when he was dense and made dumb mistakes - I got it and understood, what a charming bugger.. I don't know what can I say abut this book but say I enjoyed it very much. I enjoyed being in Jake's head and reading his journey to being a guy that had a dream, to being a famous rock star, to falling in love with Parker. I loved Jake's blog posts. Two boys who haven't a clue. Parker and Jake were so cute together. Being all Jake's POV, it was hard to see exactly what Parker was feeling, so there were mixed signals there for a while. But this was such an easy, enjoyable read.I wish we would have gotten a bit more info about Chris and Allanna's relationship. I felt Chris's turn around was a bit out of nowhere.
