Wilf, 15, does not want to be sent off for summer camp. He's convinced his parents want nothing to do with him, and they just don't understand that he's way too old for Camp Wild, where's he's spent several summers as a kid. His plan from day one: run away. While he's making preparations in the first few days, he doesn't notice that two other campers know what he's been up to. When he winds up with two tagalongs to his escape, he can't control what might happen to them in the raging river they have to ride in order to get away. Impossible to put down, I read this book from cover to cover in one sitting! I had some laughs getting to know the characters and by the middle of the book, I just HAD to know what they were going to get themselves into next. This is a little bit teen issues and a little bit adventure/survival.
