About book Callie & The Cats (2000)

Oh no where to start with this book :( (SPOILERS)I enjoyed the 1st 30% of the book especially with the 2 hot sexy mountain lions as Callie's mates :) I was waiting for Callie to actually get her backbone and kick some lioness's ass but it ended up AGAIN with her tail between her legs and running for the hills!!!For as much as her Mate's loved her I didn't feel the trio's chemistry and always felt it was a bit strained for the brothers having to share, I remember one of them thinking that he can't watch his brother and Callie joining, so he choose's to just watch her face as he loves seeing her pleasure instead????? (he's jelous and not comfortable with the situation to me)Then to top it off I couldn't believe after all Cade's had done for Callie throughout all their lives, she could just disregard her from her life like throwing out the trash, she wouldn't even phone her, tell her about the babies, include her in her wedding etc, She was just awful really didn't like her character at all, no wonder Cade's reacted as she did. Also in the book it was said that Jason made Cadence submit down to him infront of the whole pack, found that shocking of him and disrespectful to her, it's sounding like he is putting pack before his mate again, the book made the wolf pack out to be unfeeling and nasty.....really contradicting from the last 2 books I read! Here's hoping the next one is beter. I loved this book!!!I love Callie's character in the previous books so was glad that she had one written specifically about her.I like that, compared to the previous books in the series, this has more than just wolf shifters in it. I like that the romance in this book is between two shifter breeds and isn't a typical relationship - one she-wolf and twin male mountain lions. In terms of character development, this book is so far the best in the series - Callie really finds herself.I was a little disappointed that Callie didn't get her own back on the female mountain lions - I was hoping she would have gone all wolf on their arses. They got what was coming to them in the end though.I really loved the ending and glad that it was a happily ever after - they deserved it I think.Compared to other shifter books that I have read, this book was unique - I haven't read a book where there are shifters like the female mountain lions (the way they act towards the men and cubs) so it was refreshing.

Do You like book Callie & The Cats (2000)?

An adult content romance involving 2 cat shifters and a wolf shifter who find each other. Not bad.
