3-3.5 starsNice & sweet romance, following Eric & Nick falling in love their junior year of college. It's nothing earth shattering but I enjoyed it. I got this free months ago from Amazon but was hesitant to read it because reviews say this develops into a menage relationship in the other books. I hate menage but I can sometimes tolerate mmf so I'm going to continue with the series and see how it goes. Cute. Nice MCs. Eric is rich with tons of baggage surrounding his Dad's coldness and his Mom's depression and substance abuse. Nick is on a football scholarship without which he could not pay for college.Problems:The guys are so stubborn they let a argument last for months.Nick is straight with no hint of any prior experimentation with another guy. Then complete turn around in his prior sexual fantasies.Many opportunites for characters with depth but never materilized.Female was not realistic. Story could have used less of her.Sex was not hot. More telling us instead of experiencing.I might have still continued on with series but found out that it continued to a menage with the female in story. Did not feel any thing for her so do not want to go there.
There was a bit too much drama for my taste in this m/m college romance.
