4.5 HOLY MARY WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN MY WHOLE LIFE STARSMind you, I have this silly rule about giving 5-star ratings to romance novels. And I need to get over that right quick. Because this book is a STORY first, and ever so GORGEOUS and LYRICAL. The caps don't do it justice. It's butterflies and dreams and KISSING. Lots of kissing.The writing is pure poetry, and this is by far the most believable GFY I've ever read. Really, it's an, I breathe for you, I've waited my whole life for you. It just UNFOLDS, and you're powerless to stop it. Don't even try. Bought this as a Pb from the author at the UK Meet in Manchester. Still, it took me quite some time to finally start reading and then I got sidetracked. But yesterday I returned and I couldn't put it down! Read til late last night and just now I finished. Oh what a lovely story! Wonderful writing, it just flows along and takes the reader with Nicholas and David. I sat here with a smile on my face the whole time while reading, well and yes, a tear or two as well.It's amazing how some writers are able, with just a few words, to draw the reader right into the story. Now off to reading the sequel.
