Bulu is a little Jack Russel Terrier who was born on a crocodile farm in the untamed South Luangwa Valley in Zambia, Africa. This puppy seems different from his siblings, especially with his curious nature and long legs. Anna and Steve Tolan used to be police officers in England. It is about a a dog living in the African bush. When he was born he was unresponsive, unlike the other terriors. No one wanted him but his new owners who thought he was perfect.Bulu has to crosses paths with crocodiles, lions, and more. He saves baby orphans whose parents were most likely killed. Bulu was a strong dog.I really liked this book. I really thought I was right there. The author did a good job with describtive language. You learn many things in this story. Like what are the dangers for a dog to live there. Amd what happens to orphaned animals after their parents are dead. I really like this book.
