I'm not sure why this book got so many negative reviews. What people need to realize: this is a book that is clearly written for the young adult audience. I was a fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer t.v. show when I was a teenager. I am still a fan. I thought this book was an easy read and it kept my attention. People need to lighten up with the reviews and take it for what it is. I might even pick up Vol. 2! I love me some buffy, but I couldn't give the book (which is actually 3 books in 1 volume) 5 stars bc the 1st book was just not that good. The story wasn't that interesting & the dialogue & behavior of the main characters were not consistent with the show. The 2nd 2 books more than made up for it though. The 3rd book was soooo good, & I really got into it (but angel was also in that one so I might be biased). This was the first buffy book I ever read. I'll definitely be getting the 2nd volume. :)
the first two books in here were amazing, the last one was so slow, but I enjoyed most of the book.
