About book Broken Visions (2014)

I have loved this series from the very beginning. I'm not sure if the story changed or I have since the last book that I read. Gemma got on my nerves. I get that this story is mostly about Gemma and her growth through this whole series but I remember liking her in the first couple of books. Alex became kind of a push over in this book too. I can't say that I agree that Laylen needs to be a factor at this point at all. It seems like it was done and now is unnecessary. Not saying that I don't like Laylen because I do. I wanted to like this book so much and maybe I put too high of expectations on it. I enjoyed this book, however, not as much as the other 2.5 in the series. I felt like this one was rushed and not as well developed as the first 2. Not to mention all the typos, missing words, wrong words, etc... It really detracted from the quality of the story. I almost feel like J.S. was trying to rush this book for the reader. We were all dying for it come out! I can appreciate getting it out for us, but I'd rather wait a little longer for a fuller developed, error free story. With that being said...the cliff hanger ending. WOW! Didn't really see that coming and can't wait to see how Alex and Gemma save the world with this new twist!
