If you are looking for a deeply mysterious detective story full of suspense then this is not the book you want at this time. If you are looking for both main and supporting characters that are so well written it takes literally no effort to vividly imagine them then this may be what you are looking for. Even the minor characters that populated the coffee shop where Riley and Dane began their relationship managed to elicit an emotional response from me as I read.The mystery aspect of this story was most certainly secondary to the interpersonal interaction of characters. A very engaging read. Another story that has brilliant sexual tension and chemistry between its MC's. In this case a gorgeous, cocky stripper who starts the book flirting with a shy, slightly repressed cop in a coffee shop, then circumstances throw them together unexpectedly and the sizzle starts! Its a proper opposites attract story and it really works. There's also a murder mystery going on in the background as well, which just fleshes the story out nicely. Romantic and sexy. I read this approx two years ago before I ever started reviewing and I must admit it had got pushed to one side on my kindle. I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed it until I saw it reviewed on GR again and I thought I'd just give It another look. I'm so glad I did. No change of heart. Loved it just as much second time around.
