This was an excellent book. Loved Becca and Denny. They'd been a couple long ago in what seemed like another life time. Denny broke her heart but when he tried to explain, she sent him away. Now she has a chance to see him again and she can't pass it up. Will they be able to sort through their differences? What if Denny found someone else? Great love story, catch up with old familiar characters, and fall in love with Virgin River all over again! Definitely recommend! phuu... this was a tad boring for me. I would've liked a better story for Denny. Becca was kind of quick to leave her soon to be fiancé to get back with an old love that supposedly hurt her really bad. Thought it was all a bit too designed.All this christmas stuff was a bit boring too, same old reasons for the special decoration and blah blah blah...Also disappointing was that Jack, Preacher and all the other first characters are presented as old, settled, boring but caring people. It hasn't been that long that all those people's stories were in my hands and it was tough to read about them feeling old. I could symathize more with the older Marines that with all those young ones.
