3.2 Stars. Free Book. Sweet romance between two people from different social classes that have known each other for their whole lives. Emily is the daughter of a gardner and housekeeper. Barrett English is the oldest son of her parents employers. Their love story isn't conventional but sweet and lacking of the usual drama. There is still tension and uncertainty but no stupid BS we tend to find in contemporary romances. If I had any qualms it would be that the characters felt more English in their view of society/class then American and I would've liked a prologue. I liked the author and story but enjoy a bit more excitement in my usual reading choices. Am I glad I read the book? Yes, but it's not something I'd reread. If the other books in the series were free I'd read them but I'm probably not going to buy them. If your looking for a sweet romance with sensible adults not afraid to go after what they want his book if for you. Finished at 66%...I am done! Very disappointing! So much potential. Done with the rushed, can't keep their hands off, onto love thing... Then the final straw was wondering about how the sex with him would be, that she is a virgin after the way they had behaved earlier... Sooo much potential. Author had fun idea, but read some other love stories and see how they describe things, and stop with all the physical crap! Love is so much more than that! And if they really love each other, they should be able to keep their hands off each other without so much drama!
