Don't waste your time reading this!!! I am so disappointed in this sequel!!! There was hardly any story to it. 85% of the book was just them getting it on. I skimmed most of it. If I wanted this type of story, I would just have rented a porno. And to think I went back and re-read Escort since it had been so long ago, I wanted a refresher!!!! Then when the "secret" was revealed, it was lame. I wanted something more creative!!! And didn't take the entire book to be revealed!!! Received an ARC copy for honest review:Breaking is the second book in the Escorted series by Claire Kent, however it can also be read as a stand-alone. Breaking features characters from Escorted but takes place several months later and from his perspective, instead of hers.It is about a couple, newly engaged, that suffer through insecurity issues. Both are afraid of not being enough, of being too weak, or too imperfect to deserve the other. They struggle with his past and who he used to be, a retired escort. She helps him through his issues and eventually he figures out, "the dawn would come eventually, and what was broken could mend."I enjoyed this book because it was a quick easy read, but it also captivated you. Claire Kent (author) did a great job of creating characters you wanted to root for and wanted to learn as much as you could about. The sex scenes were plentiful, descriptive, and hot (but not overly, trying too hard hot). I was pleasantly surprised that the author was able to evoke so much emotion out of me in such a short book; I wanted to choke him out a few times, but I also found myself smiling as I read.
Do You like book Breaking (2000)?
It would have been better if there had been a story to go along with all the sex.

I totally could have lived without this sequel. It was just an okay story.
