About book "Break The Casanova's Heart" Operation (2011)
Oh no! This is the best Pinoy novel I've read so far. Although, I have to admit, the story is full of mushiness but I guess I have to disregard the very corny things 'coz, I really enjoyed reading every POV. I even enjoyed France's and his participation really made the book funny. To be honest, there are times when I just want to stop reading 'coz it feels to cheesy already but for some reason, I just kept reading it (glad I did). Haha. What made it more enjoyable to read are the songs that are incorporated in every sweet and sad moments. And because it has been a trend that novels be made into movies(and honestly, I read this after finding out that a movie is to be made out of this book), I am really hoping that the movie could materialized every memorable moment in the book and make us readers feel the way we felt while reading it. I hope they select really good cast of characters. That said, I mean very pappable characters. Hahaha. :) This was one of the first book I had read in wattpad. I love it! The plot was really interesting and I really had a great time reading it! Sadly, when I read the published version, there are a lot of scenes I found missing. Scenes which stayed on my mind and which I really love when I was still reading it in wattpad. One of them was Drew's role in the story. In wattpad version, he has more exposure. It explained there how he and the protagonist met and their relations with each other. Yes it showed it in the book but, in less details. I had read the wattpad version a long time ago but there's a scene that really made me squirm and super kilig. It stayed on me that I can even picture it on my mind like I just read it yesterday. It was the scene after Stephen and Naomi broke up. Stephen was a known 'player' but he changed when he and Naomi (which he prefers to call Nami.) became an item. So when Stephen knew that the relationship was a lie because of the contract, he kinda like returned to his old self. There was this fling who wants to ride his car with him. Just when the girl was about to sit on the front sit, Stephen said, "Doon ka sa likod. Si Naomi lang ang umuupo jan." -- I'm not sure with the wordings but it was somewhere between those lines. It makes me say 'awww' and kilig because even Stephen was hurt because of Nami's betrayal, he still thinks about her. He really loves Nami that much. As I grab the published version I really am looking forward to read it again and to reminisce those feelings I'd felt when I first read the book. But sadly, that scene was removed. Also, I don't know if its just me or what but... I found the story in a really fast paced. Maybe because, before in wattpad, each story was updated every once or so a week so I did not noticed how fast the timeline was. Oh well. All I can is that I still enjoy this book. I'd read this in one sitting. How cool is that? :D
