About book Boys, Girls And Other Hazardous Materials (2010)
I'm so suprised! This book was well written, extremely funny ( that one akward moment when your sitting in class reading, start laughing out loud and everyone looks at you strangely. That kind if funny) and witty. All in all, this book was well crafted, the story line was well supported and i actually really enjoyed it! In truth, i expected it to be cheesy and terrible but it wasn't. I would totally reccomend this book to people, i really enjoyed it. This book was so realistic and relatable. The ways it’s relatable to me is that middle school was horrible and I thought going into a high school everything was going to change and I would meet new people and leave all the girl drama back in middle school. But the first day of high school I realized there were more people from my middle school than any other middle school. I saw some people that I really messed and I saw some people were I wish they would disappear just like I thought all the drama was going to van age. The problems Charlie goes through are what most teenagers go through. Rosalind Wiseman used modern problems but didn’t use very much modern technology. I like the fact that it’s relatable for both boys and girls, more for girls but boys can grab some concepts out of it also. I haven’t quite finished reading the book but so far it’s GREAT!
