With the love of her life breaking her heart her senior year of college, Daphne wonders if she will ever find love again. After being the single girl at all her friends weddings and catching the dreaded bouquet at the end of every wedding she feels like she will be forever single. When her friends try setting her up on these horrible online dating sites, she becomes more convinced then ever that she will be single for the rest of her life. Until that magical moment when her boyfriend from 5 years ago returns suddenly back into her life at a wedding. Is this her second chance of love or does fate have something else planned for Daphne ????This book was addicting from the moment I picked it up. You couldn't help but fall in love with quirky Daphne and cheer her on as she was trying to find love. I enjoyed the turn off events and sudden surprises that happened at the most unexpected times and loved the story from start to finish5 Stars! I would not re-read this book. The main character "Daphne" is completely hard to sympathize with. She makes me want to bash my forehead against my kitchen counter (in all honestly, I think I did do that.) After reading this, I feel like the plot had no real purpose. There was a small driving force and then the wind was knocked out of its sails and it slogged on through the last half of the book. I couldn't get behind the groom either. We aren't given any reason to fall in love with him and that made it difficult to really appreciate what this book was trying to do.
Do You like book Bouquet Toss (2000)?
Honestly wasn't quite as cheesy as I expected. But her commitment phobia was a bit much.
