Do You like book Bound For Salvation (2015)?
I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. This is the second book of Kendra's that I have read. Book One Bound for Hell is amazing. Holy hotness is Ethan Wilde and OMG Angel Lawson is so broken. The two of them together are amazing. Ethan shows her how to live that she doesn't need her family since they do not want her because they blame her for her mothers death when she was a child. Her father is a heartless man that has her brothers acting the same. Treating her like she doesn't exist. Ethan has his demons as well. When his supposed fiance shows up threatening everything that he and Angel have. Miss bitch almost gets her way.Do they fight or flight you will have to one click and find out. Kendra is amazing with her writing. I look forward to reading book 3 in this amazing series.

4 STARS! ★★★★**This review covers the entire trilogy series.**Let me preface my review by saying that very rarely you would find me reading and reviewing an erotica series, let alone one that has a sexy billionaire hero. I've been let down by this trope one too many times in the past so I've tried to avoid them like the plague. However when one of my trusted book buddy suggested and loved this series, I decided to take a chance on it. And hey, I could always use some extra guilty pleasure read in my free time ;) All I can is holy WOW. When I started the first book, I didn't think I would devoured this entire series in one sitting. There were a few things in this read that shouldn't work for me but surprisingly, it didn't bother me too much. I wouldn't have believed that this is a debut author's work because the writing sucked me in easily and the story flowed so well. The MCs had more depth that I initially thought and it was interesting to see how they developed over the series. The Bound trilogy is a sensual-filled journey with a modern infusion of a Cinderella theme. We have Angelica 'Angel' Lawson; the damsel in distress who's a photographer with a troubled past ever since her mother passed away and living with a father who neglected her growing up. Then in comes Ethan Wilde; Prince Charming in the form of a sexy, powerful billionaire with a (swoony) British accent. A chance encounter fueled with insta-lust was the spark that set things in motion for them. It was a sexually-charged read as they battle out their attraction for each other yet knowing being with each other could be their undoing. Despite the rather cliche-sounding plot, I really enjoyed being surprised by how many twists were there throughout the entire trilogy. Especially with the 3rd and final book that really packed a punch there with several surprises I did NOT see coming. Both Angel and Ethan had to overcome several hurdles both as an individual and a couple and I thought it was nice to see how their relationship developed over the course of the trilogy. Also I felt there was a nice balance of emotional scenes overlapping with the steamy scenes plus some humor laced in at times to even out the angsty moments. Overall this was definitely a series that served well as my guilty pleasure reading and I was glad that I took up to chance to read it. The only aspect that deterred me from rating it higher was that I could have done with slightly less sex scenes and cut down of certain repetitive phrases. But other than that, I thought this was a great debut series from this author and will keep an eye for her future work!

*ARC provided by the author in exchange for an honest reviewThis is the second book in the Bound Trilogy and we continue with the love story of Angel Lawson and Ethan Wilde.Angel, although a sassy and strong woman, she has always been weak with her inner emotion due to the loveless family past she has shared with her father and twin brothers. However now that she has Ethan in her life she has found she can be loved and this has given her a new reason for life. The passionate love affair between her and Ethan goes from strength to strength, that is until an evil from Ethan’s past appears to rip all they have built together, apart.I loved the erotic passion between Ethan and Angel and this book is even more passionate and emotional than the first book. It was off the charts hot. But with the curve ball thrown in there was also much anxiety and devastation brought into the read. I won’t go into the backstory as that is a great big spoiler, but I did find the reason for the initial ‘blackmail’ to be weak as it would be one person’s word against another. The further revelation was a more believable reason though. However beside that this did bring a very dramatic and intense part of the book.It was so emotive to see such a vulnerable side of Ethan, there is just something about a man who is not afraid to show his tears, his feelings and his devastation. That just had me gripped to the kindle to read those parts. I was also cheering on Angel for how strong she was, well outwardly so as the issue that arises also has her throwing herself back into that closet. So for me, whilst the back story could have had a stronger plot, the actual romance and passion of Ethan and Angel was another page turner. The parts with her hateful Father and brothers had me in bits and I was like Ethan, wanting to rip them to shreds! A great piece of writing that has you swooning in one moment then boiling with anger the next, yes this is the cliché ‘rollercoaster’ read. This is definitely one I would recommend and cannot wait for the final part where we shall see if Angel is able to fully cast out her demons for good to move forward with the love of her life Ethan.
