I'm torn between 3.5 and 4 even though I really liked this book. My biggest issue was trying to buy into the whole women mean nothing, can't fall in love parts. I just couldn't buy that strong Italian men were not allowed to love their wives or kids. But other than that, I was hooked to the book. Not my favorite mafia romance story but def top 5. I really look forward to Gianna's story. And I hope we get lilys too. Omg this was a great mafia love story. I adore a sweet virginal heroine and a dark evil sexy hero who enter an arranged marriage. They are both reluctant to fall in love, Aria because she believes her husband is a monster and Luca because he had a rough start in life and as a mafia boss he has to be cruel and ruthless. As another reviewer said what I liked about this was that Luca didn’t suddenly turn into a pussy-whipped hero once he got to love Aria. He remained a dark dangerous man and I loved him for it. I also adored Aria. She is sweet, mature, compassionate, loving, totally my kind of heroine! I can't wait for the the next book!
