Man oh man...what can I say. This was a GREAT read. The story continues where it left off in Bound. Kelly and John trapped in an elevator. Kelly, having a hard time coping in a confined space begins to panic. John being a Dom, takes hold of the situation and calms her down, the only way he knows how. While being trapped in the elevator there is this connection that Kelly has with John, she isn't sure if he feels it, but she knows deep in her heart, that John is meant for her. John on the other hand, begins to feel something for Kelly too. John, not being liked to be touched or intimate with his subs, but with Kelly, he begins to feel.Throughout the series, you see that Kelly is John's light to come out from the dark. Having a hard life as a child, had him internalizing all his feelings and emotions to others, but with Kelly, he was able to learn to express them. This was a story about redemption, of finding oneself and seeking out the love, that we all want, unconditional love. It was a great story. I don't think this is a lot like most Dom/Sub books but there is a greater learning experience from it. I did think that the first couple of chapters started out a little slow but still kept me interested. By the end of book one I was reading to go into book two. I would have never expected things to transpire the way that they did. Throughout the book there were several quotes said that are a really great aspect to carry into our everyday life. I even enjoyed what the mugs said. I know that it's not a part of the book but it made me laugh and I loved them. (I guess if you want to know what I'm talking about you will have to read the books.)I don't think this book will disappoint, whether you like BDSM books or not. ENJOY!!!
