I loved this story. At the beginning I wasn't really sure about it because of the way the story is being told from different points of view and I don't really like that because it gets annoying and sometimes you lose a little track of the story. But I have to hand it to Maria Harte you don't feel like that and her way of telling the story with the characters styles was really funny and exciting.I love the feistiness and the little bickering between friends and family members, this story reminds of the way people actually talk and talk and it was entertaining to say the least.Shane is an architect who has had really bad experience in relationship, he's last girlfriend cheating on him and left him for someone else. He has a way of wanting to have the whole nine yards in a relationship and gets fixated on it.Shelby has also have a bad relationship, she caught her ex with his secretary and was really depressed and hasn't had a date or love life since then. I really enjoyed reading Bodywork. The storyline is engrossing and you will fall in love with the characters, I would definitely recommend this book.Shane Collins pretty much has it all a great job, good friends and sexy as sin. So why is he referred to as Mr Vanilla!Shelby Vanzant owns Bodywork, she is a masseuse and is very good at what she does. Shelby is an all in kind of girl but lately she would rather be all out than in anything.He runs into her but she is blamed for spilling her coffee MR RUDE!!She offer to take over from a friend at work and winds up with Mr Rude on her massage table.He finds her in the park and can't resist stealing just one kiss.Now they are both in trouble because one kiss will never be enough!!Shelby and Shane seem to keep running into each other and as much as they try to ignore their attraction sometimes it just takes one to make a move. Both coming off bad relationships Shane and Shelby are trying to keep whatever is happening between them quite and out of their friends and families meddling hands. But can two people who want forever, just settle with, for now. Just as they are beginning to open themselves up to each other Shelby discovers something that could end it all before it even has a chance. Will Shelby ruin everything, has Shane not been honest with her or is this one big meddling mistake that could cost them everything.I look forward to reading the next instalment of The Works series by Marie Harte
