About book Blood Rock (2000)

Just too much going on in this book! It was a great start, Dakota and Cinnamon trying to enroll her in school and insanity ensues from there. SOOO many people (and vampires and werekin) die, and Dakota had so much trouble I was thinking she should be renamed Job! A lot of things felt unresolved or hastily resolved and glossed over. I have really enjoyed the physics of magic as proposed in these books, but I had such a hard time getting through this one. Immensely enjoying this series so far. They keep getting better. Good main AND side characters, and the descriptions of the body are are gorgeous enough to clearly picture them in my mind. Nice. Way more on the magic and violence side of things than "paranormal romance" but there are bits of that in there too. Not sure how much of me liking the book is my fascination with tattoos that can move, but it certainly does affect my enjoyment.

Do You like book Blood Rock (2000)?

This really is a great series. I only gave it three stars because it just dragged on way too long.
