I loved it, I really enjoy how this series, with each book, furthers the series as a whole and she just keeps throwing in twists and turns. This is, quite possibly, the very best vampire series I've ever read. Pure escapism but you feel as if you've been dragged into the pages and lives. I will be happily moving on to the next one, I hope she continues to write in this world for a long time to come. This was good and like the 2 previous books in the series, they are not for the faint-hearted. Even though these books are about the 'good' vampires I would never want to meet them in a dark alley. At one point one of the vampires compels a human to hack his limbs off one by one until he dies. Yup, pretty brutal. But that's what I love about this author, she doesn't shy away from anything. My only complaint would be that I thought the climatic ending happened too soon, I would have liked it closer to the end because the last 1/3 of the book seemed to drag out and I kept waiting for something else to happen. However great addition to the series.
