This book seemed a bit slow compared to the first. Neither I, nor Keira had any sort of connection to the missing people and that lack of emotional punch hurt the story. What I enjoyed:* The Kelly family. I'm still not sure what they are though.* Bea and her family.* Keira learning more about her background. What could have been better:* Too little of Adam.* Missing people who you care about. Everything we learned about the missing guy made me care less for him.* A more interesting villain with a better motive. Kiera is back and life seems good for her. She is settling in with her new boyfriend and adjusting to life together. Tucker is still around and observe any progress on her change. But as always in books, when things are good that just means something is going to happen, and this is true here.People are starting to disappear around Keira's little area of Texas. As she is drawn in to help searching for them Keira learns more about her friend and her town, all the while facing a battle with Adam. With the support of her brother and other unexpected sources Keira does find what is going on, takes steps to stop it, and faces some hard personal choices along the way, and new revelations about herself and her family that will have major repercussions to come. Can't wait to see what those are!!
