(3 stars = I liked it.) This was just a tease of a story, but it peaked my curiousity enough about the leads, Seer Isla and Assassin Ransom, that I went looking for the continuation of their story, Revelation - it isn't out yet. Blindsight gave only hints at what might be an interesting world with a mix of paranormals - werewolves, vampires, and fae - and the promise of a romance viewed through one of the heroine's visions. I'm not usually a fan of short stories, but Nolan's a master of the craft. If you're a fan of her Mirus stories, you can't miss this enchanting little bite of that world. Not only does it feature Nolan's lean, descriptive prose, it manages to both tie together loose ends even as it expands her Mirus world's horizons in multiple exciting ways. Absolutely worth it and an exciting taste of things to come, I hope!Oh, and can I just say I love the cover? Is that shallow? Because I do.
