Until the end of the Book, it remains unclear who the perpetrators are and who is backing them.Faye Kellerman plays so well with the possibilities expertly in this book, that the reader is constantly out on the wrong track. Whenever one thinks to be sure now, who the culprit is, she turns the story and you have to start reflecting again, like Lt. Decker himself.Besides that, Decker his family it also targeted by the offenders, and his wife and daughter must flee and find shelter elsewhere. Another masterpiece by one of my favourite authors. Although I always enjoy a Decker/Lazurus book this wasn't my favorite. I had a hard time keeping track of all of the key players that were missing. An extremely wealthy businessman and his wife are murdered, as well as a maid, and guard(s). One of the sons is left for dead. I feel like there were some holes in the crime. Throw in a blind man and Rina serving on a jury and you have the story. Everytime I read the book, I wish I could cook like Rina!
Do You like book Blindman's Bluff (2009)?
Interesting, not too much ritual as she can sometimes write, enjoyed it
