About book Blacklisted (2000)

I really love this book. Maybe because it relates to my future book (shameless plug!). Anyway I liked the main character Mike Swanson. The book starts out with a bang and keeps going through out. Some reviewers have bashed it for believability or political nature. All I can say to that is people who are able to let go of real life and are able to enjoy fiction without getting hung up reality will love kick'in back with this book and watch the blood fly or is it read the blood fly HA!Fire up the equipment get to your favorite ebook seller and get the book. Who doesn't have a little vigilante in them :-) First off I would like to say that I've read and commented on Luke Romyn's Beyond Hades, and his Slaves of Valhalla, and I'm very inclined to think that this author has what it takes to be a very good author.Having said that, this story is no exception in my opinion that Luke certainly understands how to write in a way that draws the reader into the story, and excels at suspending disbelief. I do have to admit that the beginning chapters for some reason were not quite as compelling as Beyond Hades, however, it was certainly written well enough to keep my interest going through to the more action packed chapters. The novel is well edited, and I certainly found the formatting to be well done. I appreciate that the author developed the characters and settings well enough to grasp a clear visual in my mind without overloading me with, generally speaking, useless and boring details. It's refreshing to read the works of an author that also believes in providing more "show" than "tell" in his writings. I'm inclined to think that the story is intended for at least teens and older, as well as fans of action and adventure type stories.Another point that I feel important to mention is that, the author is very adept with an ability to gain an audience using the internet. He has an extensive following online and I appreciate many of his postings, although I would have to caution that his postings are certainly not intended for children or easily offended adults. I believe that an author being able to connect with his intended audience is absolutely essential for success in this day and age.I most certainly recommend this book, and am eager for reading more of his works.

Do You like book Blacklisted (2000)?

Slow start, then the action gets fast and furious. The ending gets too unreal.
