About book Bittersweet Revenge (2000)

Love! Love! Love this novella!Bittersweet Revenge is one of the best novellas I've read. Definitely five star worthy. I'm seething mad at how horribly Jenna was treated and bullied by the whole school. Jenna Haines is a senior in High School. She has been bullied and rumors have been spread for over a year by her ex boyfriend Corey Winchester and his friends. Jenna has no clue as to why Corey hates her so passionately. She lives through the harsh bullying with hopes of graduating and leaving all the cruelness behind. She had her feisty best friend Mimi who always has her back, helping Jenna through the constant harassing. Rex Winchester is just starting the school year at Monroe. He meets Jenna the first day of school. Rex also happens to be Corey's cousin, which is reason enough for Jenna not to trust him. As soon as Rex meets Jenna he knows the rumors about her aren't true and he wants to be friends, although he admits he'd like to be more than friends. Friendship is all Jenna is willing to give, and they slowly get to know each other. Soon they become more and they keep their relationship a secret due to threats from Corey.A SECRET that could tear Jenna and Rex apart. Truths and answers as to why Corey made Jenna's life a living hell will be revealed. Will Jenna gain confidence and finally stop letting what people say have any power over her? Hmmmm, go pick this book up today & find out! Even thought it was a short read, it got me hooked. I felt bad for Jenna, because of something she couldn't control..This book is a real eye opener to the world of bullying. The characters, Jenna, and Mimi, had their ups and downs like any best friends, but they have each others backs.Corey, I feel is just lashing out because inside he hates himself. And Rex, he really is a good person at heart. He's just human. He made a mistake. Once I finished reading it, I knew that I would check out the next book, just because I want to see what happens with the characters next. This is a must read. :)
