I stumbled upon this series and honestly didn't know what to expect. I never imagined I would fall in love with this series as much as I did. I quickly related to Catherine in many different ways. I understood her pain and her fear of letting someone in. I understood why she did the things she did to protect herself. I saw a lot of myself in Catherine and maybe that's why this series hit home to me. And who can resist the sexy as sin Jackson Cole? (; Everything about this series was beautiful and perfect. Loved this book even better than the first! THE FEELS! All of the angst, the love, the desire, and the passion! The heartbreak and longing! The DIRTY TALK! I'm telling you, I felt everything in this book like it was playing out right in front of me.Catherine and Jackson proved their love for each other in this book and I was so glad when everything worked out. I knew there'd be a HEA, but damn- sometimes these two tested me! But I think the struggles they went through only made their love stronger and more beautiful.And the secondary characters added so much to this story! Mark and Ashton are my favorite and I would LOVE to see more from them. SO glad I finally read Beloved and now Beholden. I'm a Corinne Michaels fan for life!
