If I am reading a book just for enjoyment, I am guilty of only reading the first couple chapters to see if the book is going to grab my attention. If I am done that with BEFORE MIDNIGHT, I would have missed out on a fun read.As you have probably guessed, BEFORE MIDNIGHT didn't start out with a bang. In fact, I thought that it was rather silly. Soon however I discovered that I am was enjoying the silliness. Now mind you, it wasn't all lighthearted because there was an evil stepmother who really was evil. And there was also the theme that love can conquer all. I would recommend BEFORE MIDNIGHT to my readers who enjoy reboots on the fairy tales in a paranormal fashion. I am rather interested in just what Ms. Blackstream has planned for her vampire.*** I received this book at no charge from NetGalley in exchange for a fair and honest review. All opinions expressed within are my own. Take what you know about our favorite rags to riches story, Cinderella, throw in a few werewolves, a witch's curse/blessing and you'll have Before Midnight. Prince Etienne is losing his ability to change and will soon leave his werewolf days behind. He knows his time is limited, but cannot seem to stray away after a chance meeting with Loupe. He cannot get her out of his mind and when she comes to him with a wolf issue, his true feelings begin to grow. Loupe wants to get away from her horrible life with her stepmother and stepsisters. Loupe and Etienne fight their attraction to each other, but fate continues to bring them together. Will this tale have the happily ever after as Cinderella and her Prince Charming? You'll have to read to find out! While a quick read it is a cute, fun story that will brighten a gloomy day.
Do You like book Before Midnight (2013)?
Fabulous rendition of Cinderella with a little extra supernatural factors added.
