I'm about half way though this book and it is a pretty good story, but the British terms they are using is driving me crazy and I keep having to look them up. It wouldn't bother me if either one of them were British, but they aren't. I've read books with British characters and I have no problem with having to stop to look terms up, but when it makes no sense for the characters to speak that way, it is frustrating. Unfortunately, this is a book I just kind of want to hurry up and be done with. I really think I would have liked it a lot better if it wasn't for this. I'm not a huge fan of this chapter is from character one's POV and this chapter from character two's but it is what actually drew me into this book. Based on what happens when a no name star wins an American Idol like show, I was not drawn to the winner but to the female in the story. Being the one person in the world who has never watched American Idol, that part of the story didn't matter to me much. Being a photographer and a writer, the female character took me for a ride.
Do You like book Before He Was Famous (2000)?
Had a great potential, but fell short for me. I had to remind myself of who the character's were....
