In most reviews of this 8 part series, you'll see complains of paying 1.99 per part as there's only two chapters in each, as that's insanely expensive. But bitch please, who pays for books when there's internet. Yeah, I'm one of those people. Eat me. Anyway, for a book that cost me nothing but my monthly internet bill, which I only pay half of, and that's all because I don't pay our family electricity bill, or anything like that (although great, it comes at the price of my sanity... Still trying to figure out which is worth more to me) it was pretty good! For the price, I wouldn't have read and reviewed it at all. Like, not even bothered. I don't even like to pay the $14 at Kmart and Big W when I buy books in hard copy (although I'll continue to do so even when I don't bother to read any of them!!!) because it's an insane amount of money at the end of the year, and I'll only ever read it once. I only pay that price, because one day the internet may fail us all or our government destroys it and we can't afford to buy books, and then I'll be swimming in hard copies that I never opened and life will still be good. Anyway, the actually storyline, while most compare it to fifty shades I'd like to say, just fuck off. If we compare every bdsm tale to that, it's like saying, Julia Gillard is exactly the same as Kevin Rudd, just because they both come from the same Labour Party (for non Australians these are old Prime Ministers of Oz) but not taking the time to sit down and see, one is a little creepy man with a weird voice, and the other a woman struggling in a male dominated profession, with flaming red hair and a big nose. Although I think that hair is super fake. Anyway, what I'm getting at is, just because a storyline sounds similar doesn't mean you can pass it off as the same or a rip off. I mean, girls dye their hair like someone else because they think it's pretty and it suits them. I don't see anyway saying you ripped off Betty Sue's crazy new do. No, we tell you it's good or bad and not compare it to someone else because that would be wrong. So, while I'm on the topic of comparing it, I'll state why it's not the same. A, this girl was ACTUALLY a submissive.B, she's a painter and works a billion jobsC, she's stubborn as all get outD, this has so many different sex toys and 'stuff' mentioned like ointments and such, it makes Christian Grey look like an amateur.E, he's doesn't want to shag someone who looks like his muzzer. - I swear that's what happened in FSoG?F, must I really keep explaining?Anyway, if you aren't against downloading it for free/illegally/whatever, it's on tuebl and hasn't been removed like all the good ones. Authors are such bullies when they get their books removed! Especially when the covers are so pretty! So there's your savour to paying the big bucks for a flirty cute read that made me feel a little something something, but yeah, I really hate books that are so short, I'd prefer it in one thing, so.... 4 stars I'm moved to tears at that ending. The entire story was great. I learned about things I didn't know existed. I shared in every emotion that took place between them all. I love how he "made it up to her". Not just with words but showing her as well. I also loved how much his family influenced them as well. I know a lot of people have complained about the cost... Which as a Canadian this price wasn't overblown. We pay a lot more for one book then this. Sure it was short and a few more chapters could be added to this story to tell us what happens. But, it didn't and the great thing about Fiction is u can use your imagination and put forth Ur own hopes and dreams for them. I'm not going to complain when it was well worth the cost - in my opinion anyways! Well Done Beth. I have read some of your other work and highly enjoy Ur kinky mind. Lol
