This three part series was a bit tame for my usual liking, but eventually the sex scenes heated up it just took some time. The first book, Forbidden Surrender was also a bit slow. Not many exicting or pivotal things happened besides Kristen and Vincent meetings. Also this book gave a lot of background on Kristen, but only some on Vincent. Once I got into book two, Secret Surrender I really started enjoying this couple. Kristen isn’t the normal main character I like, but I really enjoyed Vincent and how confident he was. Like many romance novels Vincent, our hero, was also a billionaire and took Kristen on lavish trips and literally swept her off her feet. Lucky lady for sure. In book three Beautiful Surrender things heat up a lot, and not always in the good way. Kristen’s abusive ex finds her after two years and is ready to cause pain and trouble between Kristen and Vincent. Fights, guns, and breakdowns all happen in a short period of time. Luckily, by this point, Kristen and Vincent have really fallen in love and hold strong together. Even more surprises come about in book three, easily the best of the series. I’d love to hear about what happens in the next chapter of life for this picture perfect couple.4 stars. This is the conclusion to the Surrender series and one that won’t leave me anytime soon. I have enjoyed the journey between Vincent and Kristen and lost several hours of sleep racing to the end. The sparks that fly between these two is tangible; now throw in the secrets kept and reappearing pasts and you have a great combination. This was such a great series with characters you can easily fall in love with! I would recommend this series to anyone.
