This book isn't as funny as The Mane Attraction, but it's still pretty amusing. The best thing for me about this book is the lack of kumbaya moments. People work together for various reasons, but most of the characters are unapologetically jerks, to say the very least. That includes the hero of this book and half the characters think the heroine is annoying. Somehow, this adds up to funny and not at all depressing. The romance itself is sweet and enjoyable. This really should be a 4.5. I loved the sarcasm and two different personalities - REALLY different - and who they drove each other crazy in so many ways. My only complaint was that the story could be a bit confusing at times. Sometimes I would be reading a section not really getting what was going on until several paragraphs later. Yes, I eventually figured out the scene but that gets a little annoying after awhile.Overall, Bo, Blayne, with family, friends, and frienemies was a fun, laugh out load read. Highly recommended if you enjoy reading about the shapeshifter world.
