The world-building is weirdly fascinating, and the plot had some funny moments.However, the characters weren't that deep. The relationship/connection between them didn't feel genuine. It felt very artificial.The plot wasn't that complicated and didn't go to any lengths to test the character's psyche.Altogether, while it was an entertaining read, I didn't get anything deep out of it. So original and uniqueWow. What a start to this series. For a 116 page book this read had such a full and exciting plot. I loved the world created. My only slight complaint is that I didn't get a good feel for the hero and heroine. It just had that forced/insta-love feel to it. That aside I will still continue this series. It as quite enjoyable and well worth its current price listing $3.99
