3.5 starsIt's nice story, but somehow I didn't get as much sexual tension from the MCs. Given their predicament, I'd expect to see more.I like the story. It reminds me that activists--regardless which side they are on--sometimes hurt their own cause with their actions.The cover, that shows Hansel and Gretel, is so cute--although at that time they're probably afraid being left alone in the forest at 3 AM. Hey, to think about it, the pond looks like where Harry Potter found the Gryfendor sword! A wonderful little read. I would certainly love to see Skylar and Brady a few months down the road. To watch them both grow as a couple and as a family.The puppies of course stole the show, I really want to watch them grow up.Although a short, I was happy to see this was all story and not over run with sex scenes like so many other shorts. At the risk of repeating myself, would really love this to be turned into a mini series. I think I need more snake shifter stories, especially if they involve adopted interspecies lol.
