Have read this online and also several times now that I have the graphic novel. Was lucky enough to be able to buy my copy direct from the author at a comics festival. Lovely to able to talk to him about the work and also his ongoing title 'The Young Protectors'. Wonderful to see GLBT stuff represented in genres I love like scifi and superhero comics. And I dare you not to fall in love with the two main characters in Artifice. They both have sweet shy grins that just melt your heart. I originally read this online but recently received the print copy that I backed through Kickstarter. It is well worth getting the print copy as it contains a good amount of bonus stuff and looks even better in print.I thought this was an awesome blend of action/drama/romance and Alex's reasons for creating such a story really struck a chord with me. If you want the stories and media you are after then you should create it. I also enjoy Alex's other series and the stuff on the yaoi911 website.
I enjoyed the story a good deal, at first I was sad that it ended to quickly.
