In this book, Artemis falls in love with Orion and then she falls out of it when Orion doesn't appreciate what she has done for him. Artemis realized that Orion was just using her for his own popularity. At the end, Orion steals Artemis's arrows and aces the archery contest. Orion secretly slips his old wooden arrows painted into Artemis's quiver. You have to admit that was pretty clever. Spray painting his old arrows with silver sparkly stuff. You could barely tell the difference. Artemis's arrows had perfume on it, so when she shot her arrow, she didn't smell anything. When Orion shot his arrow, she smelled the same exact perfume. She knew. It was a pretty good book, Better than the ones I have currently read. The fourth book in the series is slightly longer than the other 3 (240 pages compared to 160/170). It does have a bit of a longer story as well. Artemis has never had a crush before but when the new boy Orion arrives along with his dog Sirius that's all about to change. In this book we meet Orion, Apollo and Dionysus. I did not like Orion so my favourite part has to be the Archery competition, hee hee. Apollo's right he is defiantly in love with himself! I loved Artemis' dogs they are so cute and obedient! I would recommend to boys and girls but make sure you read the others as this is my least favourite of all of them so far.
