This was an Amazon freebie. It makes me really glad I am married and no longer playing the dating game. This author does seem to have a way of hooking the reader, but then I just really didn't like the catch. One issue that is touched on is recovery, but for someone that has gone through the steps then this story just doesn't ring true. Too much blame and not enough accepting of responsibility- actions have consequences. I'm glad he's not my husband. This "book" was a freebie from audible for, get this, Valentines Day! This is an hour of my life I will never get back. Thankfully it was short. Now I know why it was free. I completely understand that there is a message in the book about the difference between wanting to be in love and being in love but it doesn't matter that there was actually a lesson somewhere in this trash pile. It wasn't enough to redeem this pathetic story for me. Awful!
