About book Angelina Jolie (2010)

This is the first book of Andrew Morton's I have read. I probably wouldn't have except it was on sale and very cheap. I am a huge Angelina Jolie fan but this book left me with mixed feelings about the author. I often wonder how someone can do an unauthorized biography on someone else. I now know how. I think it is cheap and distasteful to get shrinks that have never treated Angelina nor anyone in her family to speculate about her state of mind and motivations behind doing things. I find it distateful as well that the shrinks wold even do it, but then again, it get's their names in the book. I wouldn't really suggest this to anyone!!! Have been curious about Angelina Jolie for some time. My opinion: she's an intelligent, talented actress still wrestling w/demons from her past. Done a lot of humanitarian work; admire her for that. I learned that she was inspired by the life of Josephine Baker, who had adopted 12 children of various ethnic backgrounds. So far Angelina has 6 kids: Maddox (Cambodian); Zahara (Ethiopian); Shiloh (biological); Pax (Vietnamese) & twins Knox & Vivienne (biological). We'll see if she & Brad, or she & someone else(!) make it to 12 kids.
