About book Angel Face: The Real Story Of Student Killer Amanda Knox (2010)
Pessimamente escrito, cheio de preconceitos e com uma personalização um pouco estranha. A jornalista parece escrever mesmo dentro desse nicho de disputa entre os pró e anti Amanda. Não sou contra um posicionamento, mas acho que ela centra muito do livro nisso, nos ataques que sofreu, no relacionamento de bastidores entre advogados/família e jornalistas e menos no caso em si. Apesar de algumas coisas interessantes, um livro muito pobre, independente de se considerar Amanda-Rafaelle culpados ou não. A girl from Seattle whose dream was to become a writer ended up as being a killer of her own roommate. Amanda had good grades but was also a party girl. Meredith was Amanda's roommate she was born in England she wanted to study in Perugia,Itay. One day when Amanda got to Perugia she was looking for a place to live, she found a apartment where these other two girls lived. then Meredith got to Perugia and was looking for a place to live she ran into one of the girls and they told her that she can stay at the apartment, That's where Amanda and Meredith meet. They became good friends, sometimes they would stay up late to talk about their lives, but then they got distant since they were both in different schools, Meredith would go to orientations, events and parties. it was hard for Amanda to make friends so Meredith tried to have her be part of her group of friends but Amanda didn't fit in so she would spend time at a internet cafe. then later on she thought that she wasn't going to be able to pay the whole semester at her school so she got a job at a bar. then she meet Raffaele Sollecito they started to date. On November 2, 2007 Elisabetta Lana received a prank call then the police traced it to one of the girls that lived with Amanda and Meredith and they went to the apartment and found Raffaele and Amanda standing outside. Then Raffaele said that things were weird because Amanda found blood in teh bathroom and a broken window that's when the police went inside kicked down the door of Meredith's room and found her on the ground covered in blood and with bruises all over her body and her throat cut up and they convicted Amanda Knox, Rudy Guede a guy that lived underneath their apartment and Raffaele Sollecito they had lots of months in trial and got convicted but even though they got convicted with murder it is still a mystery of why they decided to kill her. this book talks about how everything happened since the first day they both got to Perugia and after the murder happened. The title angel face defines as how people saw Amanda Knox back home innocent, nice, and a good student but this book lets people see the real Amanda Knox. with having to go to trial for a lot of months and concluding with three convictions of murder but this book lets us see the truth but this case still stays as a mystery.
